TOURNAMENT
RULES
1. After pool play the top team in each pool will advance
to the semifinals. Other teams will be matched up for a Monday game. All
games Friday – Sunday count toward record
2. Tie breakers
a. Head to head
a. Run differential –
limited to 8 per games
b. Runs allowed
c. Runs scored
d. Coin flip
3. Each team will supply 2 game balls to start each
game. Teams will contribute additional balls as needed.
4. Coin flip each game for home team
5. NCAA rules will be used. Exception – Each
team may use an EH
6. Runners can be used for both pitcher and catcher
7. Protests must be accompanied with a $500 protest
fee in cash. If protest not upheld by tournament committee fee is
forfeited
8. If a team does not play a scheduled game they will
be ineligible for the championship round
9. All games are 7 innings, 2 hour 15 minute time
limit. If time expires during an inning the inning will be finished.
10. In pool play if a game is tied after 7 innings or
at end of time limit game will be counted as a tie. ½ win and ½ loss on
record
11. Tournament committee reserves the right to make
any changes to the rules as necessary because of unforeseen events that
might occur.
